Institutional IT structures for supporting research, including the development of research data management services, online collaboration or virtual research environments; full economic costing of IT services and ensuring sustainable IT infrastructure within institutions; cloud computing strategy. Projects and technologies include: virtual infrastructure with Database-as-a-Service and Storage-as-a-Service, backup and archiving, and SharePoint for research collaboration.
