Ralph Schroder has written extensively about virtual reality technology and is now synthesizing this research in a book that will link how people interact in virtual environments to other types of computer-mediated communication and new media. He has also done work in the sociology of science and technology and recently completed a book entitled ‘Rethinking Science, Technology and Social Change’. His current research is mainly on a number of projects related to e-science.
